I am an Austrian mathematician and astronomer who got himself taken on as an assistant to Brahe in order to get access to his planetary tables. I had been trained as a Platonist and Neopythagorean, and am given to rather mystical views, as exemplified in my work Mysterium Cosmographicum. Nevertheless, I am also a confirmed Copernican. In fact, I wanted to use Tycho's data to prove the validity of the Copernican theory. I analyzed the vast amount of data upon Brahe's death. From this data, I prepared new planetary tables (called the Rudolphine Tables). At first, I determined the shape of planetary orbits to be ovoid, but rejected this result for aesthetic reasons. Going back over my calculations, I found and corrected an error. The new shape turned out to be an ellipse, which fit well into my Pythagorean views on nature.

I like just about all types of games genre-wise and I'm always willing to co-op, so long as I'm not busy with something or already playing a game with someone else. My favorite type of games are definitely puzzle games, particularly logic and physics puzzle games. Also a big fan of strategy games of all types and sizes, although tactical strategy games are my favorite. I'm somewhat new to the party on Steam and thus my profile isn't as many multitudes as awesome as it might otherwise have been. I don't have the most achievements in the world, since it's more important for me to earn achievements the honest way, rather than using in-game hints, guides, and cheats of any sort to get achievements. I also like to thank all my friends and all the kind gifters on SteamGifts whom I won games from. I'm currently focusing on playing all the games I've won or been gifted when I'm not co-oping.
