PC Gamer - Public
The world's best PC Gaming magazine and website.
If you want to join our most awesome chat (which you most certainly should do), we do have a few ground rules:
- Keep the chat civil. Lighthearted banter is fine, but don't act like a dick.
- Racist, sexist, homophobic or xenophobic language is not allowed.
- Discussing games is cool, but don't give away massive plot spoilers for new games.
- Don't promote piracy in any way. That means no download links, or asking for links to be PMed.
- Please don't ask for gifts or game/item trades in chat.
- Please don't put weapon/ item images in chat
- Don't deliberately misinterpret the rules for trolling purposes or smart-assery.
Furthermore, we request that you act like an adult when you enter the chat. That is to say that you should say hello and join in discussions politely. Do not:
- Enter chat to advertise your latest MW3 montage (or similar links)
- Enter chat and spam nonsense in order to appear quirky
- Enter chat and demand to be made an admin
And so on. This is all pretty straightforward, just be nice.
We'll usually kick on a first offence and temp ban on a second offence. If you need unbanning after a temp ban, get in touch with an admin.
We will also permaban you if:
- You're a spammer or someone phishing for account details
- You repeatedly break the rules
- You return with an alt account to avoid a previous ban

A few months ago I was introduced to the basics of Poker by a friend in the "real world". While I grapsed the basic concepts and hands, there's an awful lot to remember for a first timer. This game proved a humorous and enjoyable way to get to grips with how to play and learn over time the sort of starting cards that may enable you to win big.
It's not substitute for seeing the behaviour and tells of real players in meatspace, but it's an enjoyable, fiscally safe primer for the world of poker.
But man, fuck Tycho. Guy's an ass who'll take you for all you're worth.
Unnerving, unexpected, uncomfortable and beautiful.
A lot of you will roll your eyes at this game because it features no shooting and murdering of any kind of enemy, which is fine if that's really all that you want to experience from gaming. But you'd be doing yourself a disservice by not at least considering what this has to offer.
This is nothing like any game you've ever played before, with the possible exception of enabling "noclip" in American McGee's Alice (who would do that? Seriously.)
You can complete this game by simply following the eponymous "Path" all the way to Grandma's house, but you can't truly interact with the game without straying, without doing what you're not supposed to.
There is so much to be said about this game, but much of it is meaningless unless you play it. It is like nothing you have played before. Open your mind to it and it will not disappoint.
