Great platforming!
Wonderfully mysterious and dark setting.
The graphics are great.
Love how each level introduces new challenges that are fairly difficult. Nothing feels cheap.

Highly suggested if you're into platforming, horror, or looking for a relatively short game to complete in a few sittings or an afternoon. (Took me less than 2 hours to beat the main game once)

Early Access Review
Incredibly engaging story from start to finish.

Was not expecting to be as hooked as I became.
The story is a brilliant combination of mystery, dark comedy, and gut-churning horror.

Can't wait to see how the story continues in the updates!

I don't think I can recommend Duck Game enough. If you like platformers, competitive games, shooters, to laugh, or just something you can pick up and play for a few minutes, this is for you.

Despite looking incredibly simple, there is a surprising amount of depth in the game. Weapons are unbalanced, but in a way that no one weapon completely trumps another. It's all about your situation and quick thinking. You got a laser that will bounce down hallways and demolish all below you, but you're completely exposed to attacks from above. A six shooter can shoot threw doors and blocks, but if you miss and fire again, you'll be shooting at an angle (which can be used for your advantage). Flamethrowers are a nightmare for your opponents, but just as dangerous to you. You could have the ultimate laser that fire a huge beam that fries everything in front of you, but while charging up, another player could run up to you and take you out with a single-shot pea shooter.

You can play dead using the fumble button or use it to grab a ledge to make that extra little distance to make that little extra distance to make the jump.

You can throw items at other players to make them drop whatever their holding. Are they holding a roman candle? Throw a pistol at them and watch as the fireworks fly out of your opponents hand and possibly light HIM on fire. Someone got a better weapon and charging at you? Throw a box at them before they can shoot and they'll be defenseless.

And of course, there is the comedy. Good lord, I laugh so much while playing this game. Whether it's a player stepping on a mine he set himself, two players shooting each other at once, leaving the game with no victor (which happens A LOT), or if you celebrate your victory to early and then a gun in the middle of a fire heats up and misfires, killing you just milliseconds before you're awarded a victory. Even the little things make this game funny: The way that the ducks squak and quack when they're set on fire, when they're hit with an item thrown at them (and in those cases, sometimes it's bleeped like they said a swear, which gets a laugh out of me everytime), or how close shots cause feathers to fly off the duck.

I love this game. It's very simple and easy to pick up, but gets very deep with how those simple controls and functions work, and half the joy is learning how to use them. (When holding a sword, run towards a player with a gun, hold the attack button, and press down to slide. Keep holding down the attack button and watch what happens. If only you could have seen my face when I found this out.)
