In the realm known as Valengrad, one could see the continent of Barroth. At a quick glance, you see a variety of climates within the known landmass, including deserts, forests, mountains, snowy regions, and even wastelands aside from cities, villages, and farmlands. We take you to the north, in a mountainous region known as the Valengrad Mountains, where Castle Valengrad sits in what appears to be an odd oasis of life, while surrounding it is blistering coldness. You wonder at the effects, and how such a lush oasis can survive around the castle, so you wander in. Freezing from the cold, you feel relief as you enter the much warmer climate around the castle, finding that there was a ward around the castle which kept the snow out. You see grasses all the way up to the gate of the courtyard from the outer edge of the ward, and trees lining the path to it. On the inside as you venture further, you find ponds, and even lake just inside the walls of the courtyard as the path winds its way towards the castle. You see a fairly large hedge maze off to the side, well kept, and you think you see plants moving around it. Deciding to continue on, you come to the massive gate, easily able to allow a full size dragon through without trouble, towering over you. A moment later, and it opens slightly, giving you enough room to enter. As you walk in, you’re greeted by a fresh scent; it helps calm you, and helps you begin to relax while you enter the castle that was much larger than how it appeared outside. You go further in, and find yourself in a throne room with a single man sitting on a throne. He looks to you and regards you with a friendly smile before saying “Welcome to my realm, outsider. It’s a paradise, isn’t it? Please, make yourself at home, there’s plenty of room.” Taking into consideration with what the man said, you look around and find that there were indeed others who lived in the area. You find humans, elves, animals, even anthros of all species; all living together in harmony and acting as if they were all family. Welcome, to the realm of Valengrad, welcome to our own personal paradise.
Rules:
-While you are a resident of Valengrad, do know that even though it’s a paradise that is free reign for all, what Draconis, the lord and ruler of the realm, says is law. While relatively lax on most things, if he says something, take heed.
-Valengrad is meant to be a paradise. We don’t want trouble between the residents going on, so please leave all of your drama and other such problems behind outside of our realm. Keep it out of everyone’s view. If you feel you need to bring something of such up, do so in private, and not in public as it can and will, often irritate others to the point of banishment.
-And the most important rule of all, relax and have fun. A happy member is a member who can relax, and have fun, all in their own way. While we know everyone has their own forms of relaxation and fun, we encourage you to be friendly and to have fun together.
Where to start....first of all what seems to be a basic concept and standard puzzle plat former turns into quite the adventure and experience. From the get go you see nothing very different, simplistic puzzles and a unique but basic narrative however as you progress through the levels your little block of a character transforms into a persona, a persona you want to help. Over time you meet up with others and the puzzles morph into becoming fairly challenging. I am about half way through the game but you really start to care and the narrative used for this game is very well voice acted. Overall a very fun game and for 5$ I can't help but give it a thumbs up for others to buy it.
Wish I could say I recommend this game but unfortunately for 50$ It does not equal up to much at all. Extremely poor controls for PC, mouse sensitivity even raised when aiming is slow as hell and un precise. Would be fine if I could use my controller to use but I can't Absolutely no controller support. Very disappointed, slow internet match making the list goes on but the bottom line that for 49.99$ there are far better shooters than this piss poor port. It's a rushed job and doesn't deserve your money. So sad...so much opportunity wasted, also the game loves to crash randomly during Gameplay.
I can't express how good this title is. The mechanics make so much more sense, the gameplay is smoother. I love the graphic style it does have some of it's flaws but the best part of it is being able to make your own heroes and naming them. I reccomend this to anyone who is a fan of the series.
