Very good game with lot of attention from the devs.

Lol what a crappy game. It is worse than 10 years ago except graphics.
The best thing to do is to pay a guy who play instead of you. It is funnier and less expensive.

Early Access Review
This game contains a lots of graphical and UI bugs, clipping objets and bad collisions, which lead to exploit the game to make it less boring (ie flying mode in almost a straight line to nourrish the sharks).
The morale in exploration is doubious : in exploration mode, you will touch the landscape, which include digging the ground, going through the coral and opening wide giant clams to let its die and steal its cheap pearls. As a diver, I was quite surprised for this kind of freedom. Oh and you can't be equipped by finns if you take a picture or bring a pearl. Also, you can have sharks in bassin, which are well know to die in few months in real life because they really need an tank with the size of an ocen to live. I suppose you buy sharks in black market.
Although, I know someone who really enjoy this game : my 6 years old daughter. She never stops drawing tanks with fourniture and fishs and asking me to play this game as much as possible. Last time, she went with me at my local aquashop, she was able to identify every single items and explain me its functions. She recognizes a lot of fishs too.
So, dear devs, thanks for all this joy and knowlegde you bring to my daughter : you find your audience. Please keep on working on this title, cos she will really appreciate dolphins in an update.

Very pleasant game with nice graphics which can be considered as an introduction of the genre.
The controls are very responsive, the view isn't blocked by props and the patterns are not punitive at all.
Honestly, it is a chill one, where you will find a little challenge without rage.

When I was kid, I don't remember the AI was such a pain in the ass. It has flaws, like others RTS of this era, like stupid pathfinding or selecting the ore collectors to fight, but I remember very well when I clicked somewhere with an unit, the selected unit does what I want it does. Because it was nervous games, reactions with simple actions was the key of their success.
In this version, the units don't do what they are supposed to do, like moving instead of firing. It is really awful when in a group, some units will fire and others will move instead of just firing. As result, the units who moved will be shot by the units who fired. Sometimes, the units doesn't do anything. A big coding joke.
To sum up, this version didn't catch the essence of the Westwood versions, it will just catch your money. Then, wait a sale at 5 bucks or below, just for the nostalgia (and the original versions are abandonwares).

Great game with lot of contents. I recommand having all of the DLCs for the best experience.
Don't try hard this game but play it as a chilly one : you have a lot of chores and grinding to do and better things will come slowly (better production, automatisation) or near the end-game (better inventory, energy regen). Plus, your teleporting stone can be used indefinitly, you don't have time limit, you can't die and all of the npc's interactions are on railways. You can't have a game over. Thus, the best experience is a slow experience like playing one hour or two a day. Otherwise, the too numerous chores will make you quit.

Very funny game. Totally unserious.
The best part is when you cause a traffic jam to steal people or when you thow solid tyres on children.

After playing hundred hours on two accounts, I will finally post a review.
The concept is great and you don't have a lot of games about airport management. Although, the poor coded game ruins all the fun.
Before running an international airport, you won't see how much pathfinding and priority are important, but when you will start serious things which will come exponentially difficult, you quickly understand how much the game is badly programmed and lacks of important and well-knows features of the genre.
First, the IA case. Once you expand mid-game, the almost absent AI makes all the rage back home, in particular about traffic route. Drunken drivers who crash in other car which switch lanes without reason but causing traffic jam, traffic jam with service trucks without explanations, stuck bagages car in front of planes, 80% of delivery trucks will quit immediatly the airport once its entered it, making late everything in the service chain (I really stopped playing because of this), pile drivers : your traffic will never be fluid because you don't have any control on it. It is like there are no IA but a random route precalculated (not even the shortest) once the sprite will appear, regardless the possible and best path and there is not possibility to rewrite the route. Restarting the game won't help you each time, if it doesn't crash, and using the dev tools to delete stuck cars will make you a cheater, cos it is well-know, random garbage is for real players.
Second, the UI case. UI is lacking of almost important functions. You can't prioritize the truck services, employes, jobs, paths, etc. you just sit and pray that the random bad AI will do logically. There are already defined priorities which can't be modified. For example, don't construct too much, cos the exit won't come at the same moment than the entry, because it is more important to build props between. The problem will become very painful if, in the middle of your expansion, you will have to construct a vital structure like an de-icing station and all yours constructor are busy to build seats at the other side of the airport. Of course, you can't stop and resume the construction. We are not in an 90s simulator game...
Other kind of problem : pathfinding. You want a lane with the ways in the same direction ? nah, it doesn't work ! You have to play with one way road and restriction to try to make your traffic fluid. Want to design different paths to split the traffic evenly ? Nah, All the cars and planes will follow the same path and will cause traffic jam. The tools and the pathfind are so limited and bugged than you are playing more a puzzle than a sim.
Last, some people compared this title with others sims, like Rimworld, but Airport CEO is very far for to reach the UI or the AI for Rimworld or older games like Sierra's 90 era game.

Honestly, I hesitated to chose an thumb down because I had fun at the beginning, but when I read in their official blog that the devs stopped to fix the game in order to focus on their new project, it means they don't give a damn about an unfinished game with major bugs, now they made enough profit with it.

Such a shame.

It will take a moment to "finish" it. At least two years for the luckiest ones ...
