I wanted to enjoy this game, but the FPS was abysmal.

This game is so fail I don't even know where to start. I was hoping for a decent motorcycle racing game, nope not even close.

If you have problems with the game starting, it's because you have to go to "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\ducati world championship" and set the compatibility mode of Ducati.exe for Windows XP.

Once you've done that, you get to watch the cut scenes that look like they're from a Dreamcast game. Then you get to customize your character by selecting different helmets and "faces". I started the game with a quick race and was confronted with graphics that look worse than the original Playstation.

I used my xbox controller, but the controls are awful. You have to use the "A" button to accelerate, no triggers for you. "X" is your nitro boost, which fills up from driving at top speed. Also the start button makes you look backwards. In fact, once in a race I couldn't figure out what key could bring up the menu to leave the game. I was forced to alt+tab to close the game.

I can't tell you to, or not to, buy this game. Every game is worth getting for the right price, and for me that price was around a dollar, though now I'm thinking that dollar would be better spent on a coffee.

I've been following the Galcon series since I first played the iPhone version. The game is deceptively simple and the true strategy involved captivated me on a base level like few other games have before. For those who may not know much about this game, you control planets which generate ships. Using these ships, you can attack other planets and gain control to generate more ships. The ultimate goal is to gain control of every planet. On low difficulties this is extremely easy, but as you go up one notch to another the AI becomes very difficult and the game becomes more and more addicting as you must overcome these new challenges by thinking of new strategies.

I would recommend this to both a hardcore and a casual strategy gamer as there's something here that both can enjoy.

As far as I'm concerned, this is game of the year for 2011. The gameplay, story, and feel is far more refined than the original Portal and overall a much better game. The addition of a multiplayer element is brilliant, requiring two players to work together to solve puzzles. My only gripe with this game is the in game store, which is similar to TF2 and allows you to buy hats and accessories, which is poorly implemented and even the notion is ridiculous for a game like this. Dear Valve, do the store right or don't do it at all. With that said, it doesn't effect the actual gameplay in the slightest and shouldn't effect your decision to buy. This is one of my favorite games ever and a masterpiece of video game design.

I don't feel qualified to review this game, mostly because it's not something I would ever dream of playing. What I can tell you that I got this for free and I tried to play, but I don't understand any of it. I admit, I'm not a sports fan, but maybe there might be SOME part of this game I might enjoy? Nope. As far as I can tell it's just a series of menus. I couldn't play basketball or even watch players play basketball.

If this game is on sale and you're thinking of buying it just because it might be interesting, DON'T. It really is just a series of menus. If you really want to be a basketball manager though, this might be the game for you.

This is an odd game indeed. It seems to be a short story about conception from the narrator's perspective with minigames inbetween. Although not particularly fun from a gaming standpoint, it's interesting from an intelectual standpoint. It's worth a quick look, and it doesn't take very long to finish the game. The Steam Store lists this as a Demo, but it's actually the full game.

I'm sure you already know what Left 4 Dead is all about, so let me just explain why I think Left 4 Dead is better than Left 4 Dead 2. First off, map design. The environments are darker and creepier. Compared to the L4D2 campaigns which are usually midday. The first time I played L4D was in Single Player, and the dark map design actually creeped me out a bit, and I was too scared to go around a corner. After I played a bit of multiplayer my nerves were calmed, but I never got frightened at all in L4D2. Secondly, the characters in the original are far more charming and likeable. Francis with his rants, Louis and his pills, Zoey with the same voice artist who does Princess Peach's voice, and grumpy old Bill. Next, the special infected which are perfect in L4D, but the added infected in L4D2 are all very situational.

I'm limited in how many characters I can type in this review, so I'll end this by saying that I enjoyed L4D1 far more than L4D2 but I encourage you to try both.
