To attract your attention to this message I shall speak with the best possible english skills I have at 11:30pm. Earlier, I was conversing with several friends during a game of AoE2tC and the idea came up of the leaders of the many AoE II / AoEIItC groups in steam having clan wars.
The majority of people in this conversation agreed that it is very possible and would be a good thing to do. This message is being passed on to you, as the clan-boss-type-guy to consider asking the other clan-type-things to join us in a game or two or organised fights, There are many ways to organise this, first one coming to mind being that each clan creates a myspace (or equivalent) page and joins a group made by the leaders of each clan. The page for this group could be used to organise fights and discuss rules and such on a much larger forum.
