Awesome story driven game that subjects you to some interesting war related morality topics you'd never find in the every day shooter. Third-person POV, cover system and a standard slew of weapons, but the voice acting and characters in general make this one of the must play games in my list. 7/10

What an awesome revival of the series... I was skeptical at first with the "re-design" of Lara's persona, a little afraid that it'd turn into a man-bashing story of female self empowerment. Fortunately, they manage to convey a story of a struggling protagonist that overcomes some crazy obstacles to save her friends (and stay alive in the process lol) without having to condemn the opposite gender. If you can suspend your disbelief at the fact that she basically becomes a super-soldier in a matter of hours, you can definitely enjoy the combat system's many unlockable upgrades as you explore the vastly intricate island where this game takes place. Refreshing reboot 8/10

While not as engaging (and certainly not as addicting) as it's predecessors, Assassin's Creed III provides a great story driven experience that wraps up Desmond's role in the series. The combat system has been tweaked and now seems even more refined, and although I didn't bother much with the side missions, they would deliver endless hours of fun if you're not already "weathered" from completing those kinds of quests in previous titles. 7/10
