Wow. As far as I'm concerned, this game is severely underrated. Get it.

Yes, it does have bits and pieces I don't like - the entire world is grey-brown-depressing, but then again, this is about a global apocalyptic event that destroyed the world as we knew it. I found myself looking up to the (red) health bar from time to time for a contrast, however.

But it is surprisingly well-done. The music is good, and while the circumstances of "The Event" are never detailed, the repercussions are. Society has vanished and mankind is showing just how little it takes for everything to deteriorate further. There's a shortage of everything - you feel like kissing every bullet before firing it at someone. Luckily (but a little late in the game) you will also find a hunting bow, with its arrows being re-usable.

The only thing I don't really like is the ending, but for the sake of this being a recommendation, I won't spoil it for anyone. It is by no means a bad ending, just leaves me wanting more.

You do not want to buy this game. So me clicking the "Recommend" button is more of a joke.

I've not gotten particularly far just yet, but the puzzles I solved so far are often not logical, tedious and annoying. I'm not even certain I would like to continue playing considering just how badly designed some of these puzzles were.

So either don't listen to me (or Metacritic!) or suffer the consequences. I was curious and so far I have been bitterly disappointed. :(

Getting this game is essentially non-optional.

It may seem easy at the beginning, but the puzzles soon become real brainteasers. I've only been stuck once so far, so I dare say they're well-designed too. That, and you're properly rewarded for success, too.

In short, get it. Play the (short) demo if you're not sure you'll like it, but it sure convinced me.

Aaaaaaaah. Must have played this at some point. THERE'S NO ALTERNATIVE TO PLAYING KEEN AT LEAST ONCE.

It's a weird, but strangely addictive game. Fun, too! :D
