As the title dictates - it does exactly what is said on the tin.
A very simplistic game that doesn't try to be something it's not; you drive around, mowing down Zombies picking up different weaponary and completing objectives. Nothing complex and incredibly good fun... in short bursts.
Think original GTA gets into bed with Dead Rising. The mutant offspring is Zombie Driver.
A rather laclusture sequel in terms of gameplay; very much more of the same. However, I freakin' love it! Plus you have Iron Man like boosters when in Zero-G.
Dead Space 2 has successfully evolved in terms of graphics but more so in story & character development allowing avid fans like myself to really get excited.
Unlike the first one, Isaac is very much vocal finally bringing his voiceless character to life driving the plot forward and allowing the player to feel emotionally attatched.
Personally I didn't find this one as atmospheric as the first, but the progression of the story was more than enough for me to over come this. It'll still make you jump and expleet.
If you were a fan of the first (for whatever reason) then you'll most likely already have this. For those of you who haven't played either, then grab them both - highly recommended!
A fantastically created game that honours Glukhovsky's novel expectionally!
Obviously cross references to the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series can be made due to the links between 4A Games & the similar locales of the game(s) but Metro 2033 is a different creature all together. Some slate the linear aspect of Metro but I found it really helps emphasize the social-dystopia caused by the tunnels' inhabitants.
If you enjoyed S.T.A.L.K.E.R. you'll enjoy this. The game's visuals are simply stunning, more than enough to wow even the most avid Crysis fan.
Buy it, you won't regret it!
