I encourage everyone to try AG2 for many different reasons, one being that reg DM is dead and OB hasn't helped. Visit http://www.hl2dmpro.com/ , close Steam, run the installer, and reopen steam. There are many modes of play and super fast Pro-mod, as well as Vanilla DM with everything you need for matches built right in.
It's maybe time to move on to this great mod. Yes, it feels a little different, but DM is broken anyways and you get used to it quickly.

Play testing the newest OB HL2DM: CTF mod. It's crazy good. Movement is so smooth and fast. Football mode is outrageous. Rocket jumping, wall jumping, sniper rifle, new SMG, Rail gun... it's HOT! Everyone who loves teh DM should try this out when the final is released. You might set aside Vanilla DM for awhile.
Also, there will be some easy single elim tournaments sponsored and the MOD has Valve's approval!
