Sadly it seems I spoke too soon, shortly after posting this review the devs have gone very quiet and seemingly are ignoring the community and some very glaring issues that have presented themselves with the new season. Patches are few and far between and yet when they do come they're extremely small and don't address the major issues, often making nonsensical balance changes that harm the new player experience rather than actually addressing the root cause of the issue. The game is bleeding players and at this point in time I just can't recommend it. It feels like the game is on a skeleton crew with how little is being done. It's a real shame.

Original review: There have been a lot of good changes to this game, I still have a few complaints but it seems like the devs are making positive changes and are responsive to the needs of the community.

They won't be doing wipes in future so now would be a good time to play if you're like me and hate having your progress wiped every few months, it remains to be seen how they handle the economy and player retention without wipes, but I'm sure they have a plan.

It's good as something to have on whilst you're working on other stuff, when you want to play it more actively just up the speed.

It's great when it works, actually genuinely fun and funny.

Excellent game, very atmospheric and scary.

Have no doubt, development is slow but everything about the game screams quality and a slower development process can be forgiven if the end result is a game as fantastic as this.

10/10 Worth every penny even now.
