Truly, a unique experience all it's own. Walking into Jamestown, I was not sure what to really take away from it - it seemed like every other shoot-'em-up that has ever been in existence, while it lacks in originality and length, it makes up in substance and outstanding production value. From start to finish, the game feels like an sensual tour-de-force as it blasts incredible music that boasts and orchestral feel while maintaining a retro sound, with bullets flying everywhere and an interesting "Vaunt!" mechanic, which allows players to become temporarily invulnerable, increases their damage, and score multiplier... this is truly an indie game worth owning. The Co-Op is fantastic, and anyone who is looking for a game to return to over and over will find great value in Jamestown.

The game includes a "Shoppe" which allows you to purchase additional ships, difficulty modes, and challenge packs which are all earned from in-game currency that is collected at the end of each mission.
