Unless Gearbox patches Colonial Marines into a much better state, I'm just gonna recommend buying this and installing the AVP Redux mods. Far cheaper, tons of game modes in multiplayer, three playable races, tons of nods to the movies, and frighteningly intense singleplayer too.

A cover shooter. That is also underwater. And has you punching killer robofish in the face.

This is definitely worth it if it's discounted nicely during a Steam sale.

The single player is violence, violence, and more violence, as it should be.

For you Warhammer 40k lore nuts it also portrays the Ultramarines as something besides a bunch of rules fanatics.

The multiplayer is also fun...When the net code isn't bugging up. Imagine Call of Duty's perk system mixed with God of War's ultraviolent melee combat. Good stuff.

Get it when it's on sale. BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD.
