If you can find more fun for $1.00 then take it!

I can say this is one of the best VR games of the year with an eye on a decent story and great fun as a back rpg-style shooter/dungeon crawl. Really enjoyed this and hope to see more in the future.

** I recommend this game only because the game mechanics are ok and worked fine enough (see below), even though missing out on much of the cut scenes was a real issue. If you are buying this game today you may want to keep that in mind **

Well finally finished this game, but it wasn't easy. Many of the cut scenes just don't play (video) but the audio is fine. The game controls are wonky at best and if your attack doesn't work you lack understanding why.

However, if you can muddle through cruddy controls the story and quest lines in this game are truly second to none. They are hugely engaging and interesting while you plot along the main quest line chapters, and the extra quests are decent, but not as complex and grinding though your patience may be tested. The fact that some have two alternative outcomes means you are stuck making hard choices to guide you to the next portion

Regardless the story was robust enough to handle any outcome and I really messed up chapter 2. Took a while but once I got past my silly mistakes the rest of the game went very quickly.

I honestly don't remember when I started this game, it was probably shortly after I bought it, and it sat collecting dust because of graphic glitches which I finally just muddled through and just wanted to get the story done.

The additional missions seem broken to me. I may be wrong but after trying a couple I just quit. It's time to start Witcher 2, which I'm more eager to play, then there'll be a Witcher 3 finally.

Well this was fun, wish I'd heard about it sooner.

Well its interesting that finally after years there's some serious development going on with this title. I must say it's more playable than it was when I first purchased it, and the regular updates are a good thing. Still I would avoid this until release and only buy it if it gets a really high rating.

At release I'd rate this a -4/10, and today I'd rate it a 2/10 Its moving in the right direction but one to avoid until it shows where it will end up.

Program seems to be lacking updates, did not detect my graphics card (AMD 5700XT) and crashes constantly. Its unplayable atm.

Edit: After update it still crashes, no improvement noticed.

Game is very good 10/10

It's one of those games you look at and go 'I don't typically play that type of game' so you may ignore it. Or you take the time to watch some others play and go 'not my cup of tea' and carry on with something else.

Then maybe you decide 'what the heck' and get it, so you play it. Its hard. Lots of stuff to figure out.

200 hours later, your going 'I like this game'. Chances are you keep going.

This game showed some promise but was never more than some idea's and learning how to use UE for development. I'm pretty sure the developer will not return to this project. 4.3 hours though I got my money's worth, too bad it was all wasted. No hate on the dev tho he was pretty decent at commuinicating which is great. But I'd not buy another game until I can see it first.

Well its like Half-Life 2, but sooner.

You can't win, but you can always do better. Highly recommend for a simple quick game.
