On December 4th of 2003, after years of playing on servers where cheating and ignorance ran rampant, a man (SonOfSam) and a woman (Kristanight) came together with one goal in mind. That goal was to create a community of gamers who shared the dream of a better gaming environment (and to do the nasty). On that cold December night, GGKTHNX was born. Shunning the hackers, the racists, the porn sprayers and all other enemies of hassle-free servers, they embarked on a journey of headshots and knife fights. The community, like life itself, has had good times as well as bad, but will always continue to make the game as drama-free as possible. The clan as a whole does not compete in tournaments or clan matches, as our focus is not on competition, but quality of gaming.
In the beginning the clan enjoyed countless hours of CS 1.6 and eventually morphed into strictly a Source clan. These days the GG clan servers are dedicated to GunGame, a fast-paced mod that most seem to enjoy, as well as a TF2 and a CoD4 server. Custom maps are used for GunGame to add a little different flavor. There are also a few member created maps in the rotation to showcase all of the talent within GG. Due to the expansion of the clan, new leaders and members have been added to help with the upkeep of the site and servers.
The forums are a large part of this community and we are dedicated to making it as enjoyable as possible. They allow GG members as well as people interested in the clan to post just about anything they want. Personal news, movies, pictures, and articles all make the forums a must visit.
Our clan is invite only. If you play on our servers and are active on our forums, our leaders may give you an invite, depending on how you fit into our demented family. Young old, gay straight, black white, our clan is diverse and close knit. Our servers are also a safe haven for the females who play the game. Stop in and play, you will be impressed!
