When Zepheniah Mann died of illness and left his imbecile sons, Redmond and Blutarch, the pieces of land he had bought in frontier America, they immediately started bickering over the evenly split lands. It went from a small family dispute into a full fledged war, and special armies were called in on each side's behalf.
Unknown to anyone, however, the two sons no longer wield the power. Research and new technology funded by a mysterious new HQ on either side, and somehow when one side gets new weapons, so does the other side. The same ones. This new-found way of fighting is restricted only to the battlefield - respawning when you die, sentries that kill any moving thing that isn't your team, weapons that heal you instantly, even teleporters that take you from one side of the base to another.
Now it's up to you to choose what class you fit best as, and join a team. Or, if you have no interest in fighting, live nearby as a civilian and entertain yourself among others in the quaint town. Whatever you do, however, always remember: Primum non nocere.
