This is the offical group for Knee Deep in the Dead.
Our goal is to re-create the first episode of Doom onto the GoldSRC engine (Half-Life engine.) We have four mappers, 2 modelers, and a coder, along with me trying to figure it out. We are going to include the Doom monsters (zombies with guns, imps, etc), the weapons from it (the chainsaw to the pistol) and we are going to attempt to make Doom Deathmatch and co-op.

Despite not being quite like the other Serious Sam games, this is still a really nice change from the modern style of shooters.
Best Call of Duty game. The campaign is amazingly well made, clearly had a lot of effort put into it, had a good story that was mixed well into the gameplay, and well.... it's just amazing. And the multiplayer is extremely well balanced and fun. It's unfortunate that the series just completely fell apart after this (World at War was okay, MW2, Black Ops, and MW3 sucked though)
Awkward to get used to, but oh hell it is so much fun. Frustrating (especially since you'll probably kill yourself more than enemies will kill you), but so much fun.
