Based on gameplay alone, this the best tower defense game ever created, period. But on top of that, Defense Grid sports an engrossing story, thanks a slightly paranoid AI narrator, and very replayable, thanks to the easy-to-use leaderboard system that shows how well you did compared to your friends.
If you're looking for a deep, exciting 3rd person RPG, the Witcher reigns king. If you liked Mass Effect or Dragon Age, this game is a must play.
Spectacular hack-and-slash RPG. The only Diablo II clone worthy of not being labeled as such. Blows away Torchlight.
