I think the devs were completely stoned. However, that's not a bad thing - they designed an interesting, if trippy game.

I want whatever the devs were smoking when they constructed the story arch for Darksiders. This type of game -- jump around like a jerk and kill everyone -- has been coming out for consoles for quite awhile now. Darksiders is solid, but it's really nothing you can't get from Prototype or Spiderman or yaddayaddayadda. For $10 I recommend it, beyond that it really depends on how much you like repeatedly swinging your mighty, mighty sword at windbag enemies who look like they were kidnapped from the hell scene in All Dogs Go To Heaven.

I recommend this...just because the Rule 34 offspring of it restores my faith in Rule 34.
