The gameplay is good (if a bit repetitive) and well worth your time.

The one major criticism I have is the story, even though it's generally well voiced almost every scene breaks your suspension of disbelief as you can feel the utter contempt the writer had for You personally (anyone who would be likely to buy this game) dripping from every pore of the various author inserts.

Honestly by then end of the game I was so sick of being preached to; I was praying there would be a choice to swap places with the insane and cartoonishly evil bad guys. Both because it would have been a plausible story development and you could see how a better writer might have developed their character motivations.

My recommendation: Play the game, but skip every possible cut-scene. Trust me you won't miss anything.

Good co-op fun, gunplay improves a lot once you start upgrading weapons.

You'll need a friend to play with, but if you have that It's still the most fun you can have for €10 on Steam.

Fun, plays a lot like a version of tf2 (with cut down movement but more balanced weapons) played on one of those chaotic minecraft pvp custom maps.

Game runs fairly well, although I do get less frames than I would expect. if you have a 60hz monitor it will be fine but I struggle to maintain a solid 120fps.

Most glaring issue is the lack of a "toggle aim" option, there's only hold to aim. So if you've ever played a PC game that let you scope in, that will probably feel pretty awkward.
No options for crosshair customisation that I could see, but hasn't really been an issue so far. (although I’ve yet to play the sniper class where it may become more of an issue.)

Overall a fun game and as player numbers continue to pick up I'd say it's defiantly worth your time.

One of the best singleplayer games I’ve ever played.

Incredible voice acting, beautiful artwork, good gameplay and (unusually for a game) a story I actually cared about. Sound is good too.

Not the best PC port, but keyboard and mouse is playable. (and makes the staff much easier to use as the sensitivity scaling is really odd regardless of what control setup you use.) You'll also probably need to set the difficulty to max in order to find the combat any-way challenging.

All in all, This game is certainly worth your time.

Decent Singleplayer game.

Nice Art, Music and dialogue.
The game heavily emphasis's your characters ability customization and Does a uniquely good job of encouraging you to constantly vary your character set-up.

The actual combat is fairly clunky and this really holds back the game, considering the game is at least 50% combat this is a fairly large flaw. But overall It didn't annoy me too much and I still enjoyed the game.

Darksiders 2 Is was one of the most disappointing follow-ups that I'v ever played.

* The loot was awful and made every upgrade just feel pointless and unsatisfying. instead of getting a well-thought-out planned unlock you got to spend your time trawling thorough a cluttered inventory to eventually be rewarded with a generic weapon that had *+1% damage +2 points freezing damage and a +.05% chance to stun.*

* A lot of the movement had changed, climbing felt like you were on autopilot. Area's of the games movement that the dev's had realized were unexciting and let you speed through in the original were slowed to a standstill, and other areas where you were made to purposely take your time in the original were now inexplicably sped-up.

* The heavier, more direct, shorter combo, meatier combat of the original was changed to floaty, unsatisfying long combinations which felt like they had very little impact.

* The Pc port felt like you were looking through a pinhole for the entire game.

An excellent action adventure game with meaty hack and slash combat. Not a perfect game, but you'll certainly enjoy playing it.

The only good zelda style action rpg that I'v managed to find on PC. Items and upgrades are planned and well thought out every step of the way and the pacing is terrific with a good balance of exploration and linear story progression.

Buy the game alone, it's sequel is terrible.
