It is hard to put into words how great this game is. Coming from someone that played literally countless hours of Morrowind back in the day, and not near as much of Oblivion, Skyrim is the game I've been waiting for for so many years. The world is just immense, and feels truly alive. The PC graphics are literally breathtaking, with only a few areas having low res textures (and this game's incredible mod community fixes that). The combat has the same elder scrolls feel but feels very much refined. The perk system makes leveling up feel good instead of making you regret decisions like in Oblivion and in some cases Morrowind.
The game has downsides, but they are not at all even worth considering when thinking of buying. Giants making you skyrocket when they kill you sometimes does nothing but make the game better, even if it is a bug.
If you are any kind of Elder Scrolls, or even RPG fan, it is a travesty to not own this game. Me and my Alduin statue will enjoy it for many years.
If you are a Back to the Future fan, this game is an absolute must have. Point and click adventure can be a little hard to get into for newcomers, but the story will pull you through it if you let it. The gameplay is pretty solid, but it's the story that takes this game to a high level. The entire time playing all 5 episodes, it felt as if this could easily have been the 4th movie, Bob Gale's presence in the story is obvious.
The sheer amount of time travel and timeline alterations made throughout the episodes made me love this game and if you are at all a fan of the Back to the Future series, or even of science fiction in general, this game is highly recommended.
