Yeah, I took awhile for me to get in as well. I have yet to play myself. One note, make sure you download the beta client. the steam one wont work.

If you like anime aesthetics then that's a big plus. If you don't, ignore it. Recettear turns dungeon crawling on it's head by having you be the item vendor in town that supplies and buys from Adventurers. Buying low, selling high, building relationships with customers and dungeon diving to fill your store makes for a unquie, casual gameplay experience.
