The SillyZone (SZ) was the name given to a Team Fortress Classic (TFC) server run by Avatar-X. With his mods (notably AVC), it became "the most heavily modified TFC server in existence". After the end of the SZ around 2002-2003 two servers carried the mantle from its closure; 'The Monastery' and 'The Yaypit'. While both servers were different, they held and entertained the core membership of the SZ- making this community 10 or so years old.
The Monastery (Mona) was and still is run by Ceown with games such as TFC, Sven Co-op, both using mods created by Zap, HL2DM using Shyotl's mods, and now currently TF2 using those same mods. The Mona forums have been hosted by Phut for several years, but are now hosted by SirLamer. Many old members are still active on the forums!
The Yaypit (YP) was owned by Baron, ran TFC and HL2DM, and used modifications created mostly by Shyotl in the same spirit as the SZ. The YP server and forums are currently offline.
The Chapel, the Monastery's partner server ran HL2DM with Yay commands as well but is now retired.
We currently have both a TF2 and Minecraft server up and running!
