I played a lot of this decent game in the 'closed beta' days way back in 2011 and though it didn't use my Steam account for anything at the time, it remembered everything!
When I purchased it for myself (as never got the retail edition out of rht deal or the multiplayer option in the closed beta) it actually remember all achievements and current saves from my 'Windows 7 OS' days, as I'm now for the past month using 'Windows 8 OS' []^_^]
Amazing stuff really and the game will not only run on old hardware (for those of you thinking about it, not tried it and/or have an old system), but also has some advance features still not seen in any current games []^_^]
It might be old and a simple game, but good fun for sure and recently for the end of 2012, a brilliant DLC which I've yet to try {}^_^} *3/3*
I enjoyed the original a couple of years back and this is a great update (if at a small price).
HilaAaAarious humour. Major adrenaline rush. Lovely audio (sound and music). Overall a great quick bit of fun []^_^]
Hmm?! ()?_?)
Limited support on-line from any official forums, doesn't even have a dedicate section on Steam and my main problem is the game itself doesn't start after pressing the 'Play' button, which eventually says 'Playing' but isn't... then just vanishes into fat air.
BoOoOoOoring []O_O]
Mike may I suggest (and I'm sure a few others will agree), get yourself L4D2 either now or when it hits the sales again very soon. Nothing touches it's zUmbE killing action still, even though it's an old game, so will pretty much run on anything and yet still looks pretty damn good ...and... long gaming hours in front of a bright screen will help top-up your... tan! Just look at me, I used to look like Professor Frink \[]o_#]/
As for LFD2 reinstalling it now, again...;) wont be ready for an hour tho but up all night so hey if ya up for a game....????
See u drooling over simcity, I grew up playing the originals too, One of my all time FAV games, felt so good when I finally got a stable large city for the first time. Just hope they do a grand job of it and let it feel like the original.
