Machinarium is certainly a game for those who appreciate video games as forms of art. The artwork is meticulous, quirky, and imaginative. The music is incredibly well crafted and appropriately extends the atmosphere of the visual artwork. The gameplay is of a perfect difficulty, requiring enough patience to make the puzzles genuinely interesting, but not so much as to ruin the pace of the game or make playing through it tedious. It is somewhat short, but not at all disappointing.
