Legend of Fae has a cute art style and a interesting battle system. It's a puzzle game reminiscent of Henry Hatsworth on the DS, but it lacks the platforming. It's fun but personally far from challenging. I was able to ace each level the first time, occasionally a second time if it's a bit different.
It has a cute story, it's just not terribly challenging. For a low price, it'd be worth picking up, just don't expect something really deep from it.
Machinarium is a beautiful indie game. It has hand-drawn backgrounds and a quirky humor that is expressed with no words. Your only sense of communciation is through the thought bubbles of our robot protagonist, Josef. It has interesting puzzles and brain teasers as you explore this beautiful steampunk enviorment.
If you're a fan of adventure games and enjoy the concept of steampunk, I strongly recommend it.
