This is the group for the official (kinda) MLP FiM Steam Group Hat giveaway! Sponsored by me: GhostWolf!

Here is the background to this giveaway:
I used to be super active on TF2, and really got into trading. At one point (March 23, 2011), I had every promo, item, hat, weapon, accessory, etc currently released for the game and then some (see link below - its on page 15 that my full collection starts).

I ended up selling a lot of it for $$$ ($770 profit in total), but had a lot left over.

After letting it gather dust for 4 months, I have decided to clean out my backpack, and give away everything (excluding my Unusual Toque, but including my Unusual Larrikin - Happy Birthday Present to Lyra) that is tradable (48 hats and 53 other items of some value). Lacking skill in art or music, I find this to be the perfect way to give back to the Brony community. It also times well with Lyra's Birthday celebration (a group admin over at the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic official Steam group), so why not add to the festivities!

EDIT: It seems we are on pace to reach 2 million meme views and KnowYourMeme (which would make us the first to do so and the top meme on the internet) so more to celebrate at the same time - such a great day for Bronykind. Make sure to head on over and add a page view to the cause.

The giveaway will work like this: I will close the group to new members at 10:00 PM Mountain time tonight. All members of the group at that time (online or not) will be entered into Random.org to randomly order them (this could take some time as this group is growing rapidly). I will then match the 101 top names to the 101 items I'm giving away. You need not be online to win, I will get it to you eventually.
