Skyrim has more weapons, more areas to explore , more quests, more choices, more spells, more classes, more customization, more fucking everything. If you're a fan of the series this game is an upgrade in every possible way it's one of the most immerserve and currently holds the title as the most open-ended game yet (which every Elder Scrolls title seems to somehow surpass). If you're not a fan this is the place to start as it's also the most accesible game to date, mainly due to a lot of the class and character management being stripped away, now you merely choose your class as you play the game through various standing stones.

Some will argue the removal of such features "dumbed-down" the game, but in all truth it's fitting for a game where you're supposed to define your own character.

The only sucky thing is the UI and the many bugs, but that's to be expected of a Betheseda title, let me just say the experience of Skyrim far outweigh's the problems.
