I can't believe this dragon x wyvern discussion is the most helpful review that shows up for me on the Store page :ermahgerd:

Amusing though it may be, Alan is right. If by definition it's a type of dragon, then googling someone's opinion doesn't really counter that. Sorry to be *that* guy.

Dragons come in many forms. You're thinking of Welsh dragons specifically. Irish dragons had no limbs for instance.

It started a new game.

Your dragon looks to be using the same model, with a different texture, I either see the shadow of a leg under your wing or it's pixelated from the quality.

Persistence of memory is the title of the painting with the melting clocks. You've definitely seen it.
I think its interesting that the pictures you linked have fully upgraded wings. While my linked picture shows Wyvern Wings.
Perhaps the sprites evolve from Wyverns to Dragons as you level up...

Note the front legs not attached to the wing in the front of the body (the leg never moves while the wing flaps):

Note the 2 legs on one side: http://i.imgur.com/5DsAJo6.png

Note how there are 4 legs and 2 wings on the hoard model. A wyvern has 2 legs and 2 wings. The game model is not a wyvern. The splash screen [i.imgur.com] for hoard, however, is a wyvern.

Also note, a wyvern is (by definition) a dragon. So it doesn't matter if you call wyvern a dragon or not. Dragon is a valid descriptor.

For the Mona Lisa bit, I would call it a painting. I would not repaint it, I would not change the plaque, I might call it the Persistence of Memory for lack of knowing what the painting is of, for the sake of argument. (I do know what the Mona Lisa is and looks like, can't say I've seen the Persistence of Memory though)

The wings are attached to the "arms" of the Wyvern.

You misunderstood my metaphor. I wasn't saying that anything was being reused. I was trying to say that the actual content is moremeaningful than the titles given after the fact.

If you look at the Mona Lisa and it has a plaque in front of it that says "Persistence of Memory", are you going to change the Plaquw, or paint over the Mona Lisa?

Also, a description is not some "crate" that gets reused to sell other products. It sells a specific product (in this case a dragon).

Also, by them saying DRAGON. They mean a freaking DRAGON.

If they meant WYVERN they would have said WYVERN.
