A junkyard is an interesting place to get inspiration. A place of things that once were, and are now dead. But Jakub Dvorsky clearly looked at it and saw a story waiting to be told. Machinarium is the story of a young robot, unnamed but the Internet tells me his name is Josef, who is dumped in a junkyard. He rebuilds himself and sets off to the big city, full of puzzles, brainteasers and an evil trio that call themselves the Black Cap Brotherhood, who plan to blow up the city’s tower.
