There's a lot of bad blood between all the MOBA communities, but I find myself equally able to enjoy every single one of them. I had my doubts coming into this game, and was stricken by the same ingrained and irrational hatred towards it for just being a rival of the others, But it is truly well made. Better balance in place than any of the other games of it's kind i've seen, and although the beta community can be a bit hotheaded sometimes, the extra features of the game you have to keep track of like Creep/Tower denying and in-match runes bring about a bit of a challenge, especially when it comes to battling someone one-on-one..spells are a gift when you have them, and it's a crippling occurance when you miss them or waste your mana. There's a true team effort in place here, a real satisfaction from a solid kill or a won teamfight, and the game just looks beautiful as it is. When it is released, it'll be worth it, priced or not.
Even now when I look back at this game, which is starting to age, just amazes me how realistic they can make worlds look when they really try. Found myself stopping to admire the night sky or the sunrise when it came around, and I sure as heck can't wait for the third game, now.
This was definitely one of the more unique and incredibly fun games of it's time. Not for the impatient, but worth it when you score a big scare with a carefully set up plan. I'd still go back to it, even today.
