Fast paced skill based first person shooter.
Loving it so far, and a lot more pleasing than the original Tribes!
You get to set squirrels on fire. No, really, you get to set squirrels on fire. That's about the least praise I can give this game, so let's give it more.
It's got an enjoyable refreshing storyline, a world that doesn't entirely need to make sense and you get to play as a giant in one of the levels while setting squirrels on fire. Also, you get fun psychic powers to toy around with and each and every character has their own quirks and personalities, including all the little characters that you may see perhaps once.
Do you like your games to be hard? No? Then bugger off because Dungeons of Dredmor is more of less the height of where difficulty can be in video games, being ruthlessly dead right from the first level from being easy until you find that single trap that you cannot disarm. Dungeons of Dredmor has a skill system which is incredibly simple, but at the same time tricks you. Do you really need more Vampire Powers, or do you just want them?
If I want to play anything for any amount of time, I jump on Dungeons of Dredmor from fifteen minutes to three hours and blast away at Diggles, stealing their eggs and then dying to undisablable traps that kill me. If you want a hard game that takes thought to complete, play this game and help an indie developer who really deserves it out.
