The Place Where Gamers Have Their Say!

Do you use the Recommend function for Steam games you own? Join this group so your recommendations can reach a wider audience. Learn what other people are saying about games you are considering. Network with people that like the same games you do. We want to hear all opinions about the good, the bad, and the ugly.

The sole purpose of this group is to share the Steam recommendation information of its members to the public.

If you would like to be part of the results, make sure your profile is set to public. Parsing recommendations data takes a significant amount of time so don't expect real-time updates. Currently the information is only available via an external website. Users are welcome to use the data to fit whatever their individual needs are; I simply organize the raw data.

If you would like to add your recommendation to an existing game announcement, please add it using the comment system.

Achievement Time: If you have 50 or more quality recommendations with a public profile, you will be given the Admin Star. Basic quotes like "good game," "crap," or "buy it" don't count toward this achievement. Back up your recommendations with some thought and expression, preferably something more than a single sentence.

Ideas and comments on how to improve information delivery are always appreciated.

You get to set squirrels on fire. No, really, you get to set squirrels on fire. That's about the least praise I can give this game, so let's give it more.

It's got an enjoyable refreshing storyline, a world that doesn't entirely need to make sense and you get to play as a giant in one of the levels while setting squirrels on fire. Also, you get fun psychic powers to toy around with and each and every character has their own quirks and personalities, including all the little characters that you may see perhaps once.

Do you like your games to be hard? No? Then bugger off because Dungeons of Dredmor is more of less the height of where difficulty can be in video games, being ruthlessly dead right from the first level from being easy until you find that single trap that you cannot disarm. Dungeons of Dredmor has a skill system which is incredibly simple, but at the same time tricks you. Do you really need more Vampire Powers, or do you just want them?

If I want to play anything for any amount of time, I jump on Dungeons of Dredmor from fifteen minutes to three hours and blast away at Diggles, stealing their eggs and then dying to undisablable traps that kill me. If you want a hard game that takes thought to complete, play this game and help an indie developer who really deserves it out.

If you find yourself bored, you can do a lot worse than Flight Control. While there is little strategic depth, there is a level of intensity that some might find enjoyable.
