I'm a gamer whether it be consoles or PC, I enjoy all of them. I am also known for being an artist, I draw decently nothing too impressive. My origins as a gamer and artist lie in my history of playing videogames such as Kingdome Hearts, Final Fantasy, and an FPS called Halo. I started doing references from the concept art from those games and then I was eventually capable of doing my own twist to their design. And even now as a fan of My Little Pony and guy who sit and reads crap on the internet I still keep my artistic abilities fresh ever now and again. As for my gaming side, the first game I truly dove into was Spyro on the PS1. Then I branched out into other RPGs such as Kingdom Hearts and etc… While that was happening I would sometimes enjoy playing FPSs with my cousin who introduced me to Doom and Halo. That was around 2002. 2008 marked my first milestone into gaming, which was my transition to online multiplayer gaming. Then here I am now, an avid RTS, RPG, FPS fan, and a artist looking to expand his creativity.

Here is my review on PlanetSide 2:
To start the first PlanetSide was know for it huge battles being composed of infantry, tanks, and aircrafts, PlanetSide 2 is no exception to that. Carrying over the franchise onto the next generation, Sony Online Entertainment did a good job keeping the size of PlanetSide similar and actually tighter than the previous in it franchise. Which allows use of the enchanced first person shoot aspect compared to it predecesor where the shooter aspect was not a dynamic or smooth as it is now. With the large scale battles vehicles are a necessity. In PlanetSide 2 you have a wide range of vehicles streching from ATVs to gunships. Also customization is present in this game for your character's classes as well vehicles. However, all of these cosmetic items are only available through use of actually money which is a let down, but is understandble from a business perspective considering the game itself is free. To add on the free to play area this game also allows the user to buy guns from in game currency and real world. Many players consider this annoying and dub it pay to win, but in PlanetSide 2's defense the default weapons that are give are already decent and a good player can do well with them. On the other hand, vehicles are not in the same boat. The tanks, gunship, and light troop transport are well equipped, except the ESFs for each faction where they are really weak only having a light machine gun as a starting weapon. This throws me off a bit because it makes that air vehicle extremely diffcult to use for new players. Other than that the default weapons and vehicles are pretty balanced when compared to players that spend money on the game. Let's dig into the bad side of this game. The problems I have encountered with this game is it's optimization which the developers are currently trying their best to fix. The hackers which are not too much of an issue, but common among high population servers. Overall I give this game a 8.75/10 I really enjoy the large combat it offers to players as well as strong use of teamwork it demands.
Good Third-Person Tactical Shooter, Poorly written story though I wasn't expecting a full blown Hero's tale. Overall fun and enjoyable for those who like playing 3rd Person Shooters.
