This game is really different from your typical platformer (i think that's what the genre for this is called). The story is great but it's up to you to find the "true" ending, and gameplay is definitely easy to get used to. Although I haven't played much to find the endings yet, it's worth it in my opinion. At least for $5 it is.
Everyone who does have HL2 at the very least best has this as well. The co-op experience on this is the best I've seen among most mods and possibly the top of all. Although most people don't play this now being the under-rated mod it is, it still is a great mod especially with friends.
