What can I say about Plants vs Zombies. If you haven't heard of it or played it, seriously get out from under that rock. This game is excellent on many levels. It is funny, quirky and just a blast all around. The plants & zombies all have personality. This is a game that has soul. If you are truly frugal, wait for a deal on steam, this game has gone for as low as $3. The premise of the game is zombies are coming to eat your brains. You have to seed plants to stop them. The plants act as turret and mines and bombs, etc. The difficulty does ramp up, but I woulden't consider this game hard. I beat most levels on the first attempt. This is the kind of game that casual gamers as well as hardcore gamers can all enjoy. I recently beat this on ipad. If you have an ipad, I recommend that version over this one. The touch screen really lends itself to this style of game. Five Stars! * * * * *

This game is a simple platformer. I don't know if it is a requirement, but for all practical purpose you need a controller. The difficulty is hard, but it makes it all the more rewarding when you beat the level. Levels are short, and when you die (and you will a lot), it resets instantly. This really taps into that impulse of (just 1 more try). I give it **** (4 Stars)

This game harkens back to the old Adventure games, ala Maniac Mansion, Day of the Tenticle, Space Quest, etc. Really well done. Controls are a bit awkward, but due to the style of game this doesn't detract too much from the experience. Story may as well be the 4th movie. I recommend picking this up if you are a fan of the films and/or point, click, explore style adventure games.
