My Friend asked me one day, "Why don't you pledge to the flag?" I turned to him and said a very simple thing. I said that I would not pledge myself to a country that has turned Itself away from the ideals that were once the foundation for its creation.
Tell me that this is not true. The countries and nations today all care about one simple little fact. Money
When I come home I sit and occasionally will look and space out. I think back to the ages before this one. Is this time really better? Sure we have longer life, but is that really what we should have? Time after time I come to the realization that simply put: Our Lives are really fucking meaningless.
In the Middle Ages when you came of Age you actually did shit. Instead of wasting years of your life learning something you may or may not use, you learned a skill you were good at and that was what you did. Simple and easy. We were all Specialists. You could be proud of the job that you had. Not in our current day and time.
Everyday I see people making choices that I can only shake my head at them.
I myself try hard. However our current 'System' places you in the 'System' Based on how well you do at tests. I'm better at one thing that others, However If I fail the other things that don't intrest me what happens? You fail your entire god damn life.
Our lives are so fucking confused that most don't even realize it. People used to be able to run away and live their lives out on their own. In my final moments I will look at those around me and say a few simple things.
"I was born in a country full of lies. Today I die having lived my life with friends who were full of Truth."
Fuck our countries of the world. They never did anything to actually progress humanity.

Great game. If you like to blow shit up, Rebuild that shit, then blow it up again then this is the game for you. Hours of fun for the campaign and more for the multiplayer game modes.
Make some Portals. Defeat a Giant Crazy Robot Lady. Have Some Freaky Deaky Relations With a Cube. Sounds Pretty Normal and Cool to me. Go Get It.
