Although it may have received mix reviews by both critics and users alike - I thoroughly enjoyed it. Two main factors exist, the racing and the open world driving. The racing is absolutely horrible, I must admit. If you are looking for a decent racin game, please go check out Grid, Dirt 3, Flatout: UC, RACE 07, or even the NFS series. The gem of the game comes from the freeroam. What other game allows you to roam around in top of the line cars with friends and enemies alike? The game contains a brilliant soundtrack with musicians from all over, including Phonat with the hit Ghetto Burnin', Paul Oakenfold with My Girl, and Ancient Astronauts with Classic. Although pretty, the graphics are not revolutionary. I'd recommend this game just for the cars and freeroam, as both add another dimension to the game not seen in any other.

In a single word summary, outstanding. The writing was absolutely astonishing, no thanks left out to Brendan McNamara (L.A Noire, The Getaway), and Rupert Humphries (L.A. Noire, Grand Theft Auto 4). L.A. Noire contains a brilliant cast of voice actors including the famed John Noble (Fringe, Lord of the Rings), Greg Grunberg (Heroes, Star Trek), and Michael McGrady (Southland). This critically acclaimed game deserves no shortage of positive reviews. Although the graphics weren't on the best side, the no short of great open world gameplay makes up for it. With a 30+ hour length, and a large replayability scale, this game will keep you yearning for more.

A very enjoyable Roman age city builder. I must say, I enjoyed it far more than the game which followed, Grand Ages Rome.
