Batshit crazy. Think TF2 meets Battlefield or Modern Warfare. You can go around firing automatic rifles and submachine guns, or launching plasma balls or head-homing birds from cannons. Lots and lots of fun. Completely worth $15.

That said, it's far from perfect. Melee weapons are completely overpowered. You'll have people running around on skates, spec'd out to go REALLY FUCKING FAST, and will come around the corner and slice you in one hit somehow. These people usually get the top 3 places, almost invariably.

The snipers seem to be able to take you out from across the map. If the rollerskating melee fuckbags aren't top 3, these guys are. You can't even get close enough to hit them with your guns.

I've faced off against a guy who was level 1000. Yes, that's three zeros, level 1000. He was on the same team as the next-highest-levelled guy, a level 300-something. Seriously unbalanced teams right there. I have a screenshot to prove it if you want to check it out.

JC2 has 120 hours played on my account. 120 HOURS. That's 5 entire days sunk into this game. And I'm just over 50% completed.

This voice acting sucks, the story is meh, the characters fairly forgettable...

But... just watch the trailer/videos. You can do ANYTHING. Steal a jet plane? Sure. Steal a jet plane in midair? Why not. Steal a jet plane in midair after grappling from another plane onto the jet plane? Obviously the next logical step. Steal a jet plane in midair after grappling from another plane onto the jet plane while half of the Panauan military is shooting at you?

You're just getting started.

Buy this game. It's frequently on sale for $5, which is a complete and utter steal. Even then, $20 is more than a good price.

Fun, if not very deep, game. About 6 hours for 83% completion for me. Final Fantasy-like battling.
