Naumachia: Space Warfare

Naumachia: Space Warfare is a new space battle simulator that covers ships from light fighters to heavy frigates and more. it is in the works by the AureaSection team, who brought us the wonderful Specialists mod for Half life. The game operates on a rank system that will let players customize their ships, play as fighter pilots, command capital ships or manage AI forces from a remote view. It will not be an MMO, but more combat-centered and based off of individual joinable servers. The fighters and smaller ships will operate off a cockpit dogfighting feel, while the larger capital ships will operate with an RTS feel and the ability to control wings of AI fighter squads.

This looks like a beautiful game being created by a wonderful small developer. This fan group is dedicated to following all the future happenings and trying to foster a community for when the game launches.
