Very time consuming game if you want to be good at it. My suggestion is to read a lot of guides and practice against the bots a lot till you know the game.
I wouldn't say pick it up full price, but if you can get it for $20-30, it's worth it. Sure it's linear, but the gameplay is just as fun as it was back in Duke 3D. Took me about 7-8 hours to beat the singleplayer. When you beat it the cheat menu unlocks (akin to Goldeneye) and you can have some fun with that too. Also, boobs.
