Just bought and played 30 minutes of the game. This game looks stunning at full res 1080p resolution. The animation is just so smooth, it's like liquid. Game play is very fun and not as tedious like you might think a side-scroller would be. This game also supports 4 player local co-op. Have some friends over, plug in all your xbox controllers and go to town! I will fully support a developer that actually decided to hire artists to create artwork instead of passing the work back to the coders.
I give this game 5 out of 5 pimp slaps!
Vietnam was a great $10 addon for BC2. DICE added new weapons and made IIRC 5 very beautiful multiplayer maps. Unfortunately, this game didn't have staying power with the gaming community. If you were to buy BC2 Vietnam right now, you would only have two servers to select from and maybe a hand full of players to form a team. Very unfortunate, but with Battlefield 3 being released soon, it was inevitable.

~ but theres no reason to buy it no more
Dead Island generated a lot of hype over the summer with their edgy trailer depicting a child turning into a zombie and getting thrown out the window. Let's see if the game lives up to that hype.
First off, I'm going to say that this game uses almost the same game mechanics as Borderlands. Monsters bleed numbers when you shoot or club them and it's generally more of a number game. However, I don't believe the game devs just took a copy of Borderlands and threw a few zombies in it.
When the melee combat system was announced over the summer, most of the gaming community started to debate getting the (preorder) game. It's quite understandable though since most of these players were used to the Left 4 Dead "run and gun a zombie down" style. When I finally got to beat up my first zombie, I noticed that hitting a zombie was very satisfying. The knockback animations were crisp and made you egar to look for the next fight.
co-op and Steam Cloud adds to replayability
