I can't say much about this, at first I never really appreciated the series or the game, but then a year later I just started up HL2 and I played it as well as the episodes, and it is one of THE BEST game series ever encountered.

Buy all of the HL series, as well as trying out Half-Life: Decay and as well as downloading Half-Life: Uplink. (Not available on Steam).
