We're still here....
Our history is a complicated one. We're a group that started with about four members and a single Counter-Strike: Source server. After some time, WMD grew in to a group with over a hundred members, thousands of regular gamers, dozens of game servers across multiple games, and even a sand cat for a mascot. In 2008, WMD closed it's doors. Many of it's members moved on to another group, Hassle Free Gaming, which too has since closed it's doors.
Many of the original members have kept in touch, and With the influx of new PC games being released (Battlefield 3, Counter-Strike: GO, and Borderlands, to name a few). We thought it would be nice to round up the troops so we can all game together again.
Today, WMD can explained simply as a collection of friends who have been gaming together on and off for the better part of a decade. We're essentially a social experiment gone right! :)

A surprisingly good turn-based space sim/combat game. There's a lot to do in a universe that does plenty on its own. There's also a real-time arcadey segment to the game (which never has to be played if you don't care to) which makes for a nice change of pace. If there's one glaring flaw in this game it's that there is so little information about it on the web. Most people making guides or providing information for a SR game are talking about SR2 which is supposedly the same game with more polish and better graphics (havn't gotten around to playing it yet myself.)
An amazing game for a very low price. If anything about the idea of a 2d minecraft with a far greater variety of weapons and enemies to fight sounds even remotely appealing to you then this game is well worth its price and the developers keep adding more.
Surprisingly fun cheap little shooter.
