Dungeons of Dreadmor is a dungeon crawling, rogue like game in which it combines comedic value with a nice art style. For a person new to the rogue game genre like myself it is a good place to get started.

The story is basically dredmor needs to be stopped and the hero which is you will then proceed through his dungeons and stop him. The basic plot outline is there and that is all it really needs.

One of the major aspects is the skills in which you choose at in the beginning, there are incredibly varied from using weapons, creating items, magical abilities and many more.

This game also provides a large amount of replayability as the dungeons are randomly generated each time you play, the range of different skills, the different difficulties available aswell as 'Permadeath' which means you die youll have to start form the beginning which has been a feature in the rogue genre.

A fun game in which many hours of playing time will be sinked into it.

Combining elements of FPS and RPG to become a role playing shooter, borderlands is a unique shooter with a quirky art style, a range of weaponry and a varied character selection.

The story of borderlands is simple, your a vault hunter in search of the rumoured alien vault somewhere on the planet pandora, starting out by simply getting off the bus you begin your hunt through a variety of quests which range from finding items to defeating bosses. The progression is there and you do feel it as you level up gaining more powerful weapons and new skills aswell as discovering new parts of pandora.

The main characters of pandora are varied each with their different skills and weapon proffesions. The role playing aspect is simple but highly effective and can lead to some decisive choices in which may help your teammates.

Built as being a 4 player co-op experience it is more enjoyable to be played with friends however can still be played single player.

This mod is one of the most entertaining available, as the title suggests its pirates, vikings and knights against each other in a variety of different game mode each in their own unique style.
