Nirvana was an American Grunge Rock band that formed and founded by Kurt Cobain(Guitar/Vocal) and Krist Novoselic(Bass) in Aberdeen, Washington in 1987. In 1990 Dave Grohl(who is now in foo-fighters) joined the band as the drummer.

Bleach
Nevermind
In Utero
Incesticide(compilation album)

In 1994 Kurt Cobain's death caused great emotion among the band and the fans. Soon after the rest of the group split off and did their own things; Dave Grohl is now in the band foo-fighters and Krist is doing his own things and has made an apperance in some of foo-fighers songs. Eventually Courtney Love(Kurt's widdow wife) gained rights to Nirvana and later in the years there were reports that Frances Bean Cobain(Kurt's Daughter) gained rights to Kurt Cobain's public image.

You will be remembered, Kurt Cobain and Nirvana will always be with us!
