"Hello. Many of you know me around the forums already. Today I experienced bullying for the first time on these forums (To me directly that is) and it really hurt my feelings. I was even shown a graphic image intended to make me throw up. I believe this directly breaks the "No gross stuff" rule.

Anyway, this has inspired me to create an Anti-Bullying squad on the forums. The purpose of this squad is to do the following, abbreviated as DRAPE
D etect
R espond
A ssuage
P revent
E ducate
In short DRAPE states that when you witness bullying you will respond appropriately, calm the victim, prevent future occurrences, and educate others on bullying prevention.
Detect
- Be on alert for posts harassing fellow forum members
Respond
- React appropriately. Kindly ask the offender to stop. If all else fails curse him out.
Assuage
- Console the victim. They are going through a lot right now. This is the most important step.
Prevent
- Prevent future bullying occurrences by detecting them beforehand!
Educate
- Educate others on the importance of bullying prevention!

- Think positive! There are people out there who love you
- Do you want these people to have to be hurt? Whereas those you hate wont even care? Of course not!
