Brink, a fantastic twist on Surreal Characters in a dark gritty world featuring gameplay elements from the old Enemy Territory games. Not stoked yet? The game relies heavily on Teamplay, Lone-Wolfs will not be awarded much, help your team and in exchange you will be given almost 5 times the XP you would've gained on your own. This heavily encourages Teamplay, does it work? Yes. Very well so. The gameplay is fast paced and pretty entertaining, fluid movement over obstacles and walls, fantastic sound and an in-depth character customization make this an overlooked gem in the Shooter genre. Give it a try if you're into fancy Teamplay shooters. Out of 10 points Brink is topping an 8/10 on my chart.
Hours and Hours of addictive fun. In Plants versus Zombies, a tower defense like Strategy game you will have to use your wits and plant your flowers, mushrooms and else you have at your disposal strategically to survive the Zombie onslaught that is taking place in your garden. With dozens of different Flowers, Gamemodes and Zombies and even final bosses this game will keep you entertained for a long time to come. So, what are you waiting for ? I totally reccomend this game to anyone slightly into Tower Defense games.
5/5
You've been waiting for it, here it is. In all it's DX9 glory. Wait, DX9 ? Yes, who needs that pesky DX11 anyway. This game looks better than any DX9, DX10 and DX11 games out there.
The Story itself is quite weak in this one, Aliens are attacking New York, and you're the man to put 'em in place, pretty much like that. But even with a weak story, the sound, the graphics, the overall tense atmosphere of a crumbling metropole know how to suck you in. The Singleplayer will defo keep you entertained for at least 10 hours, even after that, I'm sure you'll want more. About the Multiplayer, well, if you like Call of Duty'esque gameplay with Killstreaks and a lot of hacking, go for it. I'm not a huge fan of the Nanosuit powers in multiplayer but they do make for a nice difference in gameplay. Crysis 2 will most likely be one of the best shooters of 2011.
8/10 for the Alienated Manhattan.
