It's Duke. It's a fine successor to Duke 3D.

I've completed it once, and yup, I'm completing it again right away.

The game may suffer load time issues on weaker older computers even though the in-game performance is stellar on those very same rigs.

On an AMD-X2 4400 with an 8800GTX and 4 gigs of ram 1-5minute load times were not entirely unheard of. However on an i7 930 with 12 gigs of ram on a similar harddrive, load times were well under 5-10 seconds. When moved to an SSD, load times were near instant more oftan than not.

Unlike most games these days which claim native support for true wide screen resolutions, DNF supports eyefinity with a +horizonal instead of a -verticle longation. Major props to them on that. If you're unsure the difference between +hoz and -vert, feel free to message me =D.

As for the story? Well, its more developed than the previous in the series (not a hard feat), and incredibly easy to follow along.

Once again, I had a blast.
